new product? "Mr. Clean Autodry"......

I searched, and nothing on this came up, so either my priveliges are being randomly denied, or this hasn't been brought up yet.....

I was watching HP TV on Spike! today and saw an ad for the

Mr. Clean Auto Dry System

It looked interesting enough, so i checked out the site. Personally, it seems like a load of BS, kind of like the "simonize system" (not to be confused with the "sodomize system") which i paid $10 for and it still wasn't worth it.

The only thing i think that this thing could possilby have going for it is that filter system for the rinse water. It would be nice not to have any minerals in the rinse water, especially considering that i get the joy of having well-water, not city water. But even with the filter, you still have to use the 2 bucket system to keep the sponge clean. Plus, this whole "spot-free rinse" sounds like something they have at the DIY carwashes, and i've never seen it work the way it was supposed to.

I dunno, i figure it'll probally be all the rage early next year, much like the "tornado air" was. Just wanted to know what everyone's general opinions were, it doesen't really make a difference now anyway, it's getting too cold to wash the car like i used to.

looks interesting but seems like it may be a bit expensive. I checked out the demo and it looks like it might work better in dry climates. I think instead of small droplet marks it may just wind up being one big water mark.
