crunchy leather seats
crunchy leather seats
My black leather seats are crunchy. seriously, they are really hard. what do i need to do to make them feel soft again? when i bought my car they were in this condition. my friend w/ a tan leather maxima has soft seats. I want mine to be like his and he says he just uses meguires wipe's. I've used Lexol alot-and recently bought some armarol leather wipe's. Im thinkin about gettin the meguires step#2 leather moisturizer but would like some inpeut b4 buying something else to experiment w/. Im afraid if they go much longer they will begin to crack. Thanks!!!

No, you don't want to try and clean them even harder. Check out this product: www.leatherique.com which is designed specifically to restore dry, hard leather. Then head over to Autopia and start reading your eyeballs out!
It's not fast and simple (or tidy), but a lot of people over there swear it actually works.
Here's a quick idea of what it is here: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....ht=leatherique

As I understand it, most people suggest getting both the Rejuvenator and the cleaner for best results. On their sales page (separate site URL I think) they should have them in 16 or 32 oz size sold as a pair for some money savings. I think it's like $30 for the two 16oz ones, andr $40 or $50 for the two 32oz ones.
