You cant get it unless
1) you are a detailler/shop owner
2) you go to a detail supply shop
This stuff is a bit out of most ppls spectrum
FourStar Ultimate Paint Protection - leaves a very slick finish, durable, smells
not-so-great
Meg's #16 - lasts a long time and leaves a wet-looking finish
Pinnacle Paste Glaz - Not very durable, but the gloss is excellent

E55, peep this: http://www.pinnaclewax.com/pasteglaz.html
Im a fan of Autoglym's Extra Gloss Protection (EGP) as a sealant. I used it with SRP and my 93 has never looked better. The combo brightened up my pebble beige like no other.
Which would you guys reconmend for wax: #16 or #26? Also, how are they different?

I saw a local news item, where they rated some of the waxes (a few yrs ago). I have always been a Meguiars fan, but they rated Zymol as best. (Might have been best VALUE). I bought a bottle and it worked "OK"....not great. But I used it to try to get through the bottle. Well, the last time I put a coat on, it didn't seem to last near as long as the 1st couple of times. I am not as fanatical as I used to be years ago, plus in CO we've had some very dry years, so I try to conserve. Well I just tried the NXT, and it seems to be really nice (and easy to use). Haven't had any weather hit it yet, but we might be due for some snow soon. We'll see how it goes.
I have used Zaino for the past 18 months on three different vehicles. I was previously a Meguire's user and was very pleased in general with their products, particularly the professional line. However, IMHO Zaino's shine and durability far surpasses anything else I've ever used. With most waxes/polishes you can get an "orange peel" look on the paint surface. With Zaino I can get that mirror finish every time. It takes time to apply the number of coats to get that look but it lasts for months. And afterwards nothing sticks to it. I also like their leather cleaner and conditioner. It works very well and brings out the natural leather smell. I don't recommend their wheel conditioner. Frankly, it sucks. The glass cleaner is more like a glass polisher and works well on lightly scratched windshields. The car wash is great and has Zaino polish in it which will extend the life of your shine.
I have been detailing cars for many years now and I have to stay with 3m hand glaze along with the insulator wax. My paint store recomended it to me years ago and I have tried several others but this stuff lasted the longest and really brings out a great shine especially in black cars.
I've only used the Zymol Japon wax and the Meguiars #26. I like both of them a lot. The Zymol is much easier to apply, but does not last as long as the #26. Both of these give a good deep wet look to black.
ARDEX - ive been detailing professionally for 5 years now and this **** is the best in my opinion. i think they only distribute to dealerships, body shops, and detail shops. not quite sure though, never asked.

Check post #6

My distributor stopped carrying them for his own personal reasons
Took me awhile, but I recently found a new distributor for them. Will be stocking up again soon.
But yes, they are a pretty restricted product to consumers....

I've been a Klasse user for over three years now. I wouldn't trade it for anything else. The sealant glaze is just amazingly durable and long lasting.
They say Klasse can last up to 6 months, but I don't exactly want to test that claim. I have gone 2 months (parked outside, in the sun) without a re-klassing and the water still beads like theres a fresh layer of klasse.

i have a question for you guys...i just bought meguiars gold class wax yesterday and im going to wax my car today...before doing it tho i noticed their cheaper line of wax says clear coat safe...the gold class only says that its clear coat paste...there is nothing on the can about it being safe for clear coat like the other one says..what exactly does that mean??? will it be ok for me to use on my car it will it mess up the clear coat? thanks

Gold Class is perfectly safe for clear coats. It will not hurt anything. I'm not sure what kind of wax would NOT be clear coat safe, but I can assure you that Gold Class poses absolutely no hazard to your clearcoat.
I bought this Dupont Teflon Wax it's great. At first I thought I just wasted about six bux but as I was applying it, it appeared to go on smooth and not dry to stick. After about three car washes so far with soap and brush the wax is still beading. The rear trunk I didn't put any on and of course the water does not bead at all there.

Teflon car care products are just a bunch of marketing bull****. Teflon needs to be applied at 680*F in order to bond to a surface. The only reason people buy those products is because they think the Teflon will actually protect the car like they see on their non-stick pans.
