best way to remove old tint?

well i've been meaning to get a new tint job for my max. i think it's still the original tint. it's been baking in houston's heat for a loooon time. the old one is getting more craprific each day. it's torn in some areas, blurry in some...just not good. figured it's time to do a new tint job for my old max.

anyways, i'm a total noob when it comes to tint or any related issues. what's the best way to remove old tint? i figured it'll save me some money, labor wise, when i take it to the tint shop.

thanks in advance for any advice/tips.

When I removed mine (granted, it was only on the front two windows of my Stang), all I did was keep the tint wet w/Windex or soapy water (I can't remember which). I then started at one corner and used a razor to sloooowly pull the tint off...

i used a razor blade, windex, and paper towel and it came off perfectly on my previous car.
