Touch up spray paint?

Has anyone had any experience with getting a vin number matched paint and touching up scratches by taping off the area and spraying a thin layer on and then clear coating it? Anybody? If so does anyone have pics of how it turned out? Any suggestions or ideas?

Thanks,

-Nick

Truth be told, you'd be better off having it airbrushed than doing canned spray paint. Airbrushes can focus on smaller areas easier than spray cans.
