Does road slat corrode below freezing?
I have not washed the max in a few weeks because its been so damn cold. Is it true that road salt does not begin to corrode the metal until it is above freezing and can interact with moisture. If that is not the case I gotta go get a bath for maxine!!! Thanks
Freezing or not, I dont leave salt on my car for more than a week in the winter. Its just horrible for the paint either way. Ive seen numerous people leave salt on their car for more than a month, and the paint looks more dull than before. Salt = evil, be good to your max and give it a nice warm bath every 2 weeks or less in the winter.

I would do an underbody wash as frequent as possible, thats where you might see damage later on. Try to keep everything under there as clean as possible. I hate seeing cars covered in salt, it brings a tear to my eye....
