I like Blue Coral Dri-Clean carpet and upholstery cleaner. I have been using it for about 15 years.

I've heard (Autopia) that Prestone makes really good carpet cleaner. I use a Bissel Little geren though. 100 bucks and it does a much better job. It's so small and easy to set up that you can bust it out real quick if some clod tracks mud in your car. Def a good investment if you like to keep the car clean.

i use this hot foam stuff they have at our local car wash. you apply the foam to the carpet, work it in with the brush, and vaccuum it all up. works rather well for me.

Folex is supposed to be a very good product for use by hand or by extractor, and priced pretty well too. The problem is some states don't sell it for some strange reason...

my neighbor has a chem-dry store, he has the bottles of stain extinguisher for carpets, i use those on my mats and it works pretty good, they are like 10 bucks at the chem dry place, but he gets them for 3, so i get them for pretty cheap

here is how i keep mine clean
vacum the hell out of it
spray stain extinguisher all over the mar, focusing on the heavy stains, scrub it in real good,
let it dry, then vacum it again,
i then put down the cheap plastic floor mats you can buy @ wal mart or autozone , the clear ones, comes with a set of 4, they keep most the bad stuff off.
