meguiar glaze#7
I used the #7 glaze a couple weeks ago. The car felt extremely smooth afterwards. Other than that, it was hard to tell if there was any difference in reflectivity or anything. Especially on white, it is so hard to make any major improvements in the paint other than a glossy appearance.
After I used the #7, I applied two coats of Meg's NXT Tech Wax. That did make a difference. It smells really good, and goes on/off very easily. It darkened my white paint a bit, which I like. I have gotten several comments on the shine since I applied the #7/NXT combo.
I did have a little bit of trouble removing the #7 after drying though. Other than that I really can't complain.

Application can be funny with #7, and there are some tips for using it easier although I don't recall them off the top of my head at the moment. How did you use it?
Generally people seem to like #7 if they don't have any application issues.
i apply it like you apply wax
let it dry and buff it out
i was expecting my car to have a deepier shine to it if that make any sense
my man prolem was that i didnt know where i have already applied the glaze and where i didnt apply it

#7 is a glaze by Meguiar's terminology. This means it contains a lot of oils. It actually doesn't dry like we are accustomed to with waxes. It "skins". After applying to entire car, start back where you began and start buffing off (this has given it time to skin). Then buff it again.
The results you get with #7 depend on the paint condition. Naturally, the better condition your paint is in, the less of an improvement you'll see. Color also plays a huge role. Darker colors respond to #7 much better than lighter.
One of the benefits of #7 (especially on dark colors), is the added "wetness" it gives the paint. This is because in essence you are smearing an oil on the surface which never completely dries (that is very simplified).
Mike Phillips, of Meguiars, has his own site at www.showcargarage.com. Check the forums there; many very knowledgeable people. There was also a post where he goes in to detail about #7 and its application/removal.
