What kind of car soap you use?

I just trying to get an idea how many people that uses a certain brand of car wash soap that is more commonly used. What you thought the results of it? I have been using ArmorAll Concentrate soap for some time. It works sufficiently but doesn't clean throughly to remove some stubborn water spot. I am changing to spend more to get a better soap.

I use Zymol car wash. IIRC, it's about $8 from Auto Zone/Target/Walmart etc. I like how it works.

Some water spots will not be removed with just washing. They are kinda set in the clearcoat. You might want to try a claybar or polish and see if that removes them.

Soaps differ a lot. While it won't destroy the paint, dish soap will strip the wax from your car. For regular washing, use a soap made for cars.

Dish soap? that's not good, i wouldn't use that, I know for sure they do dull the finish since they strip the wax. Has anyone tried Meguiars soap?

I am a fan of Meguiar's Gold Class Shampoo. I have been using it for the past three years and love it. I am also going to add Eimann Fabrik's Power Wash to my arsenal.

Like Bluesbrekr I like the blue Zymol Auto Wash, for many reasons. Among them is good lubrication.

I've found most car shampoos to work broadly similarly and to clean about the same (when mixed properly according to what they suggest) but some offer better lubrication, and for people who like suds some make a bigger head in the bucket than others. Smell is something else I'm big on.

Since I have Zaino polish on mine, I won't use anything except Zaino car wash. And yes, I had the car professionally clayed and buffed to get the finish perfectly clean before putting the Zaino polish on. Now its easy to maintain with their car wash and their Super Clean about once a month to remove any road grit, etc. that may stick to the finish.

I like the Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash. Works great for me. Been using it since I discovered it about 5-6 years ago.

No dishwashing liquid will strip wax from your car, it's been scientifically proven. It's a common myth that has been spread quickly due to the internet.

I use Meguiar's Gold Class Shampoo but honestly I've tried 6 different soaps and none seem to clean any differently. They may apply differently (more foaming, which is supposedly better because it reduces paint scratching) but honestly I see no difference.
