I need the same help.. but the stains are on the headliner and driverside c-pillar... I just got the car and I dont know what the stain is but it looks like coffee... any tips or tricks for coffee that might be 10 years old? wouls a steamer help to take it out?

Also how do I remove the hazing on the rear windows from cigarette smoke/tar?

Freak: Did you try hitting it with Oxiclean to treat the spot and then following up with a regular shampoo?

Ninty: I wouldn't use a steamer because the steam is liable to weaken the glue and you would have to eventually replace your headliner. What I recommend is an upholstery cleaner on a terrycloth towel and gently scrubbing the area so that you do not run the risk of damaging the headliner.

well i thought about oxiclean but haven't tried anything yet. the dealer did attempt to reomve the stain because when i picked it up it reeked of a paint thinner smell but to no avail. the coffee stain wasn't from me but the previous owner so i'm unsure of how long it has been there...
i was gonna try my mom's new steam cleaner but dunno if that is a good idea or not... any input? so far i'm leaning toward oxiclean

Try using 303 aerospace cleaner, or their shampoo. If you want I can send you some professional cleaner that I have as well that I use in my detailing business. Carefull though its good stuff but the smell can take you back. $10 for a 20oz. PM me if interested.
