Eagle 1 Nanowax

Anyone tried this stuff yet? It claims to better fill tiny cracks in the paint to help reduce the appearance of scratches and swirl marks. Saw an ad for it in my issue of Car and Driver, and it caught my attention.

Its basically a 1 step cleaner/wax. Its easier than polishing then waxing, but does neither very well. I heard it was a pretty decent 1 step product though. I only use a cleaner/wax for my door jambs.

I used some of it on my 2000 Max about 10 days ago. I was very impressed by its shine and its ability to cover small scratches and swirl marks. My car is black, so all of these small imperfections really show up normally. After using the wax, I could not see any swirl marks. Also the application of the wax was great, especially with the microfiber cloth. My only complaint would be the durability of the wax. After washing the car, I have noticed that some of the swirl marks and scratches are visible again. Out of all of the waxes I have used it has by far the best shine and ability to cover swirl marks, but has short durability.

Still with the old fashion wax for a longer lasting shine andf protection. A little elbow grease will go a long way to make your Maxima looking great!

I would say put the Eagle1 wax and put something over it. If it does such a good job hiding swirls and scratches without using a paint cleaner, this is what I would do. PrinzII, can you step in and educate us on this?
