Wax on black rubber and plastic
I have found it pretty difficult to remove wax residue from texturesd vinyl. One thing that has worked for me is using a toothbrush (hard) in conjunction with (I think Mother's makes this, but it could be McGuires) back to black. Apply some back to black to the vinyl piece and scrub with toothbrush.
Hope this helps.

To prevent it from happening all together, it's suggested that any black vinyl, rubber, plastic should be dressed with mineral oil based tire shine prior to waxing (let soak in too.) Obviously don't use too much, just enough to cover the mouldings, and you can wipe off with a dry rag afterwards to prevent excess from getting on paint.
So then when you wax, you don't have any wax going on those spots, and it also gives you that nice dressed shine on those parts anyways.
Oh yeah... Peanut oil gets it off if you already have it on there. Mother's "Back to Black" is wonderful as well.

Mother's Back to Black looks great but only for a few weeks then it wears off. I just ordered forever black bumper and trim dye kit(http://www.autogeek.net/forblacbumtr.html) as recommended by autopia.org which is supposed to last much much longer. I'll let you know if it works.
