waxing chrome rims

Hey, I heard mention earlier that it was not good to wax chrome rims. I have been waxing mine for a few months now and haven't had a problem The place where i bought the rims told me that this would be fine for them. Should I stop? I just use basic wax like mequirs or turtle wax. Thanks

There should not be a problem with that at all. The key thing when doing that is to remember that your rims are clear coated just like the paint on your car is and you should treat them the same way.
