wheel wax??
wheel wax??
what type of wheel wax do you guys use? does it really keep the rims cleaner longer? i have been trying to wash the EVO's bi-weekly, but with all the damn rain, it is not always possible..does the wax help with brake dust??
Use whatever you are putting on your car. Take the wheels off and do a thorough job on the inside of them. I usually put down a number of coats of wax on the inside to protect them for the summer.
The wax does help with the brake dust. It won't stick as much. Most wheels are clearcoated now. The brake dust is actually corrosive if left on there too long. So its important to have some sort of protection between the clearcoat and the dust.
Also getting one of those thin wheel brushes so you can get in there and clean the inside of the wheels every time you wash your car is a must!
