Is Goo Gone safe for clear coat?

Is Goo Gone safe for clear coat?
I have some tape residue on the car & I have half a bottle of Goo Gone at home. Is Goo Gone safe for the paint's clear coat?

Yes it is. Use it sparingly with light pressure...just enough to remove the adhesive. Then I polished and waxed the area. (I'm sure that stuff strips the wax)
