Headlight Stain

I Have a 5th gen and the the headlight housing near the top, on the glass is stained and makes it not clear. Its common on older cars, but it had it when i got the car. Not sure on how to get off other than buying new housings.

Are you talking about hazing?? I had this problem on my DSM and used light (as opposed to medium) rubbing compound. You should be able to get it at autozone etc.

Is there a specific name for this rubbing compound? I've tried to use Meguir's plastic polisher, but it doesn't seem to work too well. There's still hazing. Thanks for your help.
