well, white isn't the greatest color to take pics of after a detail, but in person I could tell an improved shine. It was easy to apply and buff off too. We didn't get to prep the paint much. I wanted to run the car over with a polish, but since NXT has some cleaning / abrasive power, I didn't want to bother with the extra work... pressed for time.

I bought it from walmart for $14. I actually went there to pickup the AutoDry system but they were out Oh well, I will look for it next time.

Here are some pics... some ****tards keyed up my friend's hood, so we tried to salvage it with what we had.

keyed up hood before:

keyed up hood after (1Z UPP / 1Z PP / NXT with yellow cutting pad):

the rest of it is too deep to be taken out w/ what we have.

NXT applied:

Post back in a while when you see how long it lasts. I was on the verge of recommending this to someone I work with but the buzz at Autopia was a little flaky on longevity.

My experience with NXT was exactly what you posted. NXT is easy to work with, cheap and looks great....BUT, it's durability sucks. The depth of shine that comes a day after applying NXT is gone after about two weeks tops. AFter trying it for 2 months and 4 applications, I gave up and went back to Blackfire. I'll probably be trying EX-P and/ or Wolfgang this summer.

NXT will keep your car gleaming and beading like crazy for over a month. i waxed mine up with nxt 1.5 months ago, and after every wash, it still shines like it was just waxed. The beading action is insane. Easily the best wax out there for its price IMO. also, make sure you hand wash your car with preferably NXT car wash. power washes prematurely strip wax and apply "wax" of their own.

Well I just washed my car again and it's been 3 weeks since I appled NXT and it still looks good.

I'll report back in another week or 2.

I have heard exactly what your saying. I have some wax as you dry that I have not put on cause I want to see how well this holds up.

I applied NXT TECH today and wow, my car hasn't looked this good in a long time. Of course, I only wax once every 2 months and when I do, I use Meguiars quick wax. WAL-MART has NXT for $13.84

Wax isn't supposed to remove swirls. Swirls are in the paint and you need to use a polish like DACP or SMR to get them out. Wax is just a protectant...polish removes imperfections.

I don't think you should top NXT with anything. Definately don't top anything with NXT because it will take it off. I had bonding issues with Zaino on top of NXT.

My 2k2 was swirl city, seriously one of the worst that I had seen. My routine is NXT wax, after I buff it off I use the spray on NXT booster wax (actually more like a polish) and honestly there are zero swirl marks anywhere on the car. This is the first thing that I have used that has actually worked (even Mequires Scratch X left a couple behind.)

I also do this same routine on my 96 that is deep evergreen. The color is so rich and deep that it actually makes the car look pearlecent, it looks black but on the spots where the sun is hitting it looks like a really clean shade of dark green. Hopefully I will have some pics soon.

I wash and wax in this manner about every week. I am an NXT wax buyer for life now, I love it !!!!

EDIT: I also use my California Car Duster each morning (when the car is clean) to get the dust off (even in the garage it still gets a little dust.) I do this until it rains and the car stays looking like I just washed it and swirl free.
