maximum UV protection?? (CF hood)

do you guys know of any product which is superior when it comes to UV protection? I've heard that NXT and zaino are pretty good... I want to do everything possible to extend the life of this hood... I could get it re-clearcoated for the extra protection, but rather work with detailing products.

thanks!

Zymol Carbon and the more costly Zymol "estate glazes" boast extra UV protection. I have used Zymol for years and I live in south Texas...no problem with oxidation.

Generally not. These waxes are specialty products and as such are generally not available in the discount chain stores. In the past, I have purchased the wax from Emmons Coachworks in Chicago... 1-800-NOW4WAX, www.emmonscoachworks.com . The Carbon costs ~$36 for a jar...that's expensive, but one jar will do your car 6 to 10 times/several years. Zymol waxes have a very high content of natural carnauba wax and natural oils to feed the paint. They also leave absolutely no white residue or dust. Everybody has their favorite, but I have had very good results with Zymol. Zymol sells a less expensive line of products that are sold in Walmart, Autozone, etc, but the line of products I am referring to is generally available in specialty stores such as Emmons.
