Just Got Egged . . . Last NIght

How's it going everybody ? I was driving last night through rain and I slowed down to wait for one of my buddies to catch up. Well, as I waited and saw that they were catching up, I started driving up to speed. At that point, something hit my car just to the left of my windshield. S#!t it was an egg ! I thought to myself, "Why would somebody throw an egg WHILE it was raining?" So when i got home, I got out and wiped down as much as I can see.(the rain took care of most of it, I think) But then I noticed that by the extreme left of the windshield (i don't know if it's the seal or what) there was some scratches, which I believe is from the egg shells on the black area surrounding the windshield.
My question is, Is there anything I can do to get the scratches out or better yet to fill it in ?
I apologize for a long post

i would clean the area with whatever car wash you use and then use a good polish and wax. i use zymol with good results. im 24 but i would still be inclined to go where you got egged some other time and find the kids doing it. they are always dumb enough to come back.

I was driving home one night and my car getts pelted by a snowball. I screech to a stop, and my friend and I get out, hop the fence into these kids back yard and chase these f*ckers off into the shadows. Unfortunately we lost them. As we were searching for them, two other kids pop over the fence... They got hit too! So we had 4 of us out there lookin for these little punks and were not able to find them, but hopfully they got a good scare out of it.

I hate little punk kids! I know I never did anything like this when I was younger.

if you got comprehensive insurance, tell em your winshield is broken and need it replaced, theyll do it for free under that. I had a few chips in mine when the origional turned 80k, so i asked my agent (good relationship with) how many chips a windshield needed to be considered broken, he said "uhh..1?" so i went and got it fixed. ironically, 2 days after enjoying nice crystal clear vision, a rock got kicked up and blew a nice diamond crack outta the new one :P

Get a bunch of small apples and go back and see if you can find the kids with the eggs then throw the hard apples as hard as u can at them. Eggs may be messey but hard apples hurt like a *****. Small hard apples work best they leave nice welts.

if your gonna throw apples use a tennis racket TRUST ME that hurts when getting hit by an apple with a tennis racket. we used that instead of water ballons when it got cold last summer lol.

that happened to my friend in his 01 acura cl-S except we busted a u-turn in the middle of the road and caught up to them and got their plate #. they treid to outrun us in a gs300 lexus. not only did we catch up to them, but we flew passed them and i launched a snapple bottle at them out the sunroof, missed by inches.

we never thought that they may have damaged his car but they put a big dent and some scratches. we filed a police report and described the car. and then my friend filed a lawsuit against them which was settled out of court for ~$600. the best part is that the kids address is on our copy of the police report in case we ever get to feeling a little devious

won't that be considered a claim and raise your insurance rate?
