spilled RED WINE on my leather....HELP!

hey guys I spilled red wine on my leather about a week ago. it has been hot and humid here in NY and the inside of my car has gotten very hot sitting in the sun during the day.
does anyone know of any good products that I can buy at a store like autozone to get the wine out?!
Thanks for the help!

You can try Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Pretty cheap, and can take out a lot of stuff.

Try using Windex. Spray it on and let it sit for about 15 seconds and then blot it off with a paper towel. Not sure if this works on baked on wine on leather, but it works like a hot damn with red wine, coffee, pasta sauce etc. etc. spilled on carpets, upholstery, clothes etc. if you apply the Windex right after it happens. There is just the right amount of ammonia in the Windex and I find it works better than any carpet cleaner, upholstery cleaner etc. etc. Trust me on this one!

I keep a product called Wine Away around the house. I checked the bottle and it did not mention leather, but you might call them for more details.

hey guys thanks for the advice. it is actually my landlord's car that the wine was spilt in. he got a bottle of wine from some friend and placed it on the seat and during the hot day wine passed through the cork (yes, it's true, natural corks don't create a perfect seal) and got onto his leather. i was just wondering what would take it out since I a. don't have leather and have never cleaned it and b. would never allow red wine to spill on my precious Max!
But thanks for the tips, i'll pass them on to him.

Do you think it's a problem that you have a product only for cleaning wine, and in fact visit websites devoted to enthusiasts?

The author of the wine removal product tip is obviously a Maxima enthusiast and a wine enthusiast. Now if he were only a beer and pizza enthusiast as well he would qualify as a perfect human being, lol!

Oen thing I am seeing on Autopia that is effective on leather is....Woolite. If you use a mixture of water and Woolite, you should be able to get your stain out.
