Hood Shield

I have a 01 black max. Does anyone have the rock deflector/hood shield on their maxima. How is it, and is it easy to remove for easy clenaing and waxing.

I have the AutoVentshade smoked deflector. I used the 3M it came with to mount it. It also comes with small clear dots called "bump-ons" to protect the paint against wobbles. There is about a half inch at between the bumper and deflector so it can be waxed but not too easily.

The deflector come with a screw mount option (self tapping) that I'm considering using since the heat or poor installation on my part has allowed the deflector to come loose. Even loose, the deflector does not wobble or touch the hood. The only part I'm worried about is the front edge of the hood.

PM me with a an email address if ya want a picture of mine from the front. Sorry no pics of the gap but I'll try and get one if ya need it.

Sorry Just re-read your post. I'm guessing the bugdeflector isn't what you meant.
