whats worse

whats worse for your paint parking it under the sun all day or in the shade under a tree????

Believe it or not, under certain trees can be brutal for paint. Here's why.

a) Birds: We all know that birds like to congregate in trees and they view a shiny car as Triumph the Insult Dog would say, "For me to poop on."

b) Insects: Certain insects can leave entrails on finishes that are as acidic or more acidic than bird poop.

c) Berries/Fruits: Some of these can contain acids that can damage the clear coat of many finishes.

Yes, just keep it waxed. Stuff that falls on the paint as a result of parking in the shade isn't the end of the world - as long as you clean it off very soon and keep the car waxed. I usually park in the shade.
