It seems like the clear coat was damaged to the hood. what seems the best repair? I thank you all for your reply.>>>

 

If it's just a few chips that seem to have gone through the clearcoat, just go buy a tube of touch up paint and you should be ok. If it's the whole clearcoat on the hood damaged, you're looking at a new paint job.
