crack on windshield slowly spreading

About a week ago, a small pebble or sometihng hit the corner of my windshield and made a very small crack. Well the crack is slowly growing (might be accelerated by the vibrations from my subs ) Is there any way to stop or slow down the crack from spreading? Thanks in advance!

Depending where you live it might be covered under insurance. Call a windshield repair shop and ask them. I think if it can be covered by a dollar bill than it can be injected to stop the crack. If it is past that then you will need a new windshield. I think I have like a $100 deductable for a new one. Hope that helps, and I wouldn't push on it or the crack will start running!

Get it fixed asap. If you don't, you WILL need a new WS. The shop will drill holes at the ends to stop the crack and then fill it with goop to make it less visible and to fill it. Should be very cheap.

It is reasonably cheap, but it may also cause the crack to spread too. Bring it in to be fixed ASAP so there will be less contaminants inside the crack.

I've had lots of cracks successfully fixed. The one on my new Max didn't stop the crack from spreading. The next day it spread slightly more, and then its held all winter and this summer without moving.

Its just a matter of luck really.

I had the same problem about a month ago. I went through my insurance company and used a glass shop they work with and they covered the whole job. If your insurance company is like mine it wont cost you anything. I've had no problems since they filled it.
