Help! take a look at my paint! needs help...
So I will upfront admit my stupidity. I used an old sears buffer I had with some cheap @ss turtle wax and my paint now looks like sht with swirl marks all over it. Waht can I do to take care of the swirls? please help, I dont know much about detailing.
I do plan to get a PC7424 as I have read on some of the threads on here, but I want to do this right next time....also would like to know how to remove some of the scratches and nicks in the paint....Thanks!

In a nutshell, you are going to need a polish (e.g. Poorboys SSR 2.5, Einszett Paint Polish) to get the swirls out. However, if you are getting a PC, the pads you use are also critical to the equation. You will need to use either a polishing pad or a cutting pad (If you get the pads from www.properautocare.com, those would be white and yellow respectively).

Did this one this past weekend on a 1994 accord wagon. It was a birthday present for my mother in law who has been wanting a new car for a while, so ithought id give her the next best thing! Using a pc 7336 with megs dacp, swirl free polish, show car glaze, than finish with pinnacle souveran liquid. nice job if i do say so myself!
Step 1: Wash car with dawn
Step 2: Clay bar severe rough spots and problem areas
Step 3: Apply Einszett paint polish with an orbital buffer, and really buff for a while
Step 4: Meguairs #7 showcar glaze
Step 5: Einszett Glanz wax
Step 6: refrain from busting a nut on your amazing detail job
PM w/ any questions
