AIO = polish, clean paint.
SG = sealant for the paint.

I thaught it was the other way around because on the back of the sealant glaze bottle is sais for extra protection use All In One after the SG goes on

Nope. The SG is for extra protection after the AIO. SG is layerable (You can put more than one coat). I have seen people on Autopia put 3 layers of SG on their cars.

The AIO not only polishes but sets the surface up for the SG.

Some people say its best to wait a week between layers of SG to allow for it to fully cure..dont use NXT on top of the AIO and SG..the NXT has polymers in it which can be used as a mild cleaner..look for a wax with no cleaning polymers in it..something like Pinnacle or Meguiars #26

I'd recommend the P21S/S100 or the Pinnacle Waxes. The key thing is that you want a wax that is carnuba and has no cleaning properties like NXT.

I would say use the AIO, then SG, let it cure for a few days, then use S100, P21S, #26, #16, Paste Glaz, or some other durable PURE wax.

No curing necessary, you can put the topper wax on pretty much right away

You don't let the sealant cure before applying a topper? Do you also not let the sealant cure before adding another sealant layer?

This is the beautiful part about sealants. They dont really require curing time. The only stuff I have seen that really required it was this liquid glass stuff that I saw at discount auto parts. When I do the klasse, I do 2 thin layers of the SG topped off with a nice thin coat of S-100. Car is simply amazing.

Not so fast. I'd let the SG cure a minimum of 30 minutes before applying anything else to it. Also, a very slick thing to do is to mist a QD onto a MF when removing SG. This reduces the possibility of the "Klasse Haze" and makes removing the SG easier.

I dont even think it needs that long man, Ive seen where it takes anywhere between 8-12 min to be ready for a top wax. Perhaps you use a thicker coat than I do?

No, my fellow mod. I don't. Besides, I know if you use Zaino with ZFX, you get the instantaneous cure time but not with Klasse.

Since you are from virtually the same climate as I am, I'd advise putting a second or even third coat of the SG onto the finish for additional protection and then put the wax after the second or third coat of SG.

The QD (Quick Detailer) misted onto the MF (Microfiber Towel) will make the SG very easy to remove.

I usually let it cure for a day before putting the second coat on. When I did my '94 Maxima with AIO/SG, I let a day go by before putting the second coat on and then probably a week before the third.

First, many thanks to all of you for sharing your expertise. If I wait a day after the first coat of SG, how should I wash/prep the car for the second SG coat provided it has not rained? Should I just dust the car with a dry cloth or something more?

I would wash it as normal and then apply the new coat of SG.
