help needed!

debadged the burger, after removing the adhesive i noticed a hazy/bluish tint under the burger, not the whole thing but under some parts....i tried to get it out to no avail it sort of looks like the damage on gtr_riders car in the first few pics in the Paint Problems Sticky above.....its a small area on the back, i really dont want to have to put the badge back on, i want a shaved a$$ with my red/clears, im now scared to take off the MAXIMA. please org gods, save me from having nasty badges on the back of my beloved max

I have your solution. Claybar the trunklid.Then, You will need to polish the trunk lid with Einszett Ultra Paint Polish (Yellow can). This may take more than one go, but it should all but eliminate whatever marks were left by the hamburger and logos. follow this with the regular paint polish (green can). Again, this may take more than one step. Then the Metallic polishwax (red can) leaves the paint nearly flawless and prepped for wax. If you want something easy, get the glanswax (blue can). Get them here: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/wheres1z.html and get moving cause they wont offer it much longer. PM me with any questions. I am more than happy to walk you through it.

thanks alot for taking the time bro, really. I tried compounding, claybar, and polish, its still there, its almost like a hazed over part, maybe i didnt compoiund it enuff times, but it didnt look like it was working at all. I was thinking stoppppin by a local bodyshop and give em 10$ to wwheel it out. Any other help would be great, thanks again AMG

I forgot to mention that all those things have to be done with a high speed rotary or DA polisher. They will NOT work by hand. The next option is wetsanding if that doesnt work.
