Did I apply this correctly??

Clayed my maxima. Applied Meguiar's Gold Class Liquid Wax. Then applied Meguiar's #7 Glaze. Was this done in the correct order? Does the glaze follow the wax or vica versa? I though that the glaze was for extra shine/wet look so it would go over the wax. Help

No the glaze goes on first before any wax or sealant.
Also, Gold Class has cleaners in it, which probably removed some or all of the #7.

The point of a wax or sealant is twofold - one, it is there to protect your paint, and two, it is there to lock in the shine you bring out of your paint with other steps.

That being said, as white95max said the glaze goes on first because it brings out the wet look, and then you apply a wax or sealant to lock it in and make it shine for longer. However, I do not think Gold Class wax has any cleaners in it as it is supposed to be a similar, consumer version of hi-tech yellow wax. A vendor confirmed this for me, but he and I could be wrong, too.

Gold Class does have cleaners.
If you apply it onto black trim, your applicator will turn black. The cleaners "clean" the color right off.

I was very surprised to hear that Gold Class had cleaners in it, so I e-mailed Meguiar's to find out the cleaning capacity of it and they told me that there are indeed very mild cleaners in it, but nowhere near enough to remove anything below (such as #7) which one of their paint cleaners or cleaning waxes could do. That being said, feel free to apply Gold Class wax over the glaze (which, to correct what I said before, is pure polish because Meguiars uses glaze and polish interchangably, unlike many other companies and professionals).
