Seatbelt Cleaner?

Poked around FAQs and searched, but no luck....

Ever since I bought my Max the driver's seatbelt has noticeable dirt and discoloration on it (tan interior - go figure). I've tried simple stuff, like elbow grease with a damp rag or a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, but not much success has come of it. Anyone know a good product that is used with a regular towel/rag? I don't want to use anything abrasive that might fray the belt - it's still in damn good condition otherwise.

Try woolite on a cheap Microfiber towel. You can get them from WalMart for 5/~$6.00.

I pull extend mine all the way out, then close the door on them. Then use a fabric cleaner (like Tuff Stuff, which is excellent, or a 6:1 water/Woolite mix) and a rag. You can spray the seatbelt with either of these and let them soak for a minute or so. When spraying, I hold a rag behind the area so I'm not spraying my paint. A soft scrub brush (like a fingernail brush) can be used on tough spots. Rinse well. Wash car (to remove any overspray). Do not let the belt retract until it is thoroughly dry. I tie a string around the fastener and then run it to a tree or stake in the ground to help keep the belt extended and off my paint for faster drying.

Another thing that has worked for me in the past is to use a steam cleaner with an attachment and run that over the belt a few times. I do my interior, floor mats and seatbelts (if they need it) once a year. The fabric cleaner will work well too.
