Window Tinting

I bought my car used (95 Max) with window tenting. Im pretty sure it was a high quality job done after marketing but Ive noticed on my rear window in the corners a few bubbled starting to form. What can I do about that. I dont want those horrible bubbles you see all over cars with cheap window tenting.

I've heard of people making a small cut in the bubble and then smoothing it out. If that doesn't work just get it retinted somewhere with a lifetime warrenty.

tint shops usually offer life time warranty against defects so ask your previous owner where he got his tints done.

When I had my other cars tinted, I got a lifetime warranty with it. I think the warranty was against cracking, fading, and bubbling.

yeah just ask the previous owner where he got it tinted. or u could always poke a little hole in the bubble with a needle and flatten it out.

you will not get it warrantied if you are not the oraginal owner. Are the "Bubbles" on the dots around the outside of the window? If so you will be able to do nothing about them.

All depends on shops.

Take a picture of the bubbles for us. If they're really small, it might not be a problem with the quality of the tint or the job they did, but rather imperfections in the glass.

It's just a stab in the dark because if you noticed it, then they're probably bigger than I think anyway. But glass can experience pitting, for example if the car was in a minor accident and a bodyshop needed to sand or weld a piece by your door jamb and didn't cover the rear windshield, there could be tiny pits that the tint will show immediately. My car has this, but I only know about it because my tinter pointed it out to me.

The original owner lived in Texas so thats out of the question. Um Ill try to get a picture up all the bubbles are near the edge of the rear window about the size of the tip of my pinky I think. Ive tried to flatten the bubbles and it slike there is no stickyness left to flatten them out, but its probably from air in there too.
