waxed car....no diff

I recently wax the car using the following...

1. Washed with Dawn
2. Use Mequeirs Paint Cleaner
3. Applied Mequiars NXT Polish/Wax

My problem is some areas are still lightly oxidized somewhat, particularly the hood and rooftop....do I need do something different to bring the shine out on these areas? I dont think the paint is bad, there still clear coat plenty.

Thanks

What I would recommend in this instance is something stronger. If I was in your position, I would use something like Meguiar's #83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish and then follow it with a lighter polish. However, if you don't have access to a buffer, I would recommend Menzerna Intensive Polish and then follow it up with Final Polish.

My fellow moderator, E55AMG2 uses another good product called Einszett. If you get their Paint Polish and then follow that up with the wax of your choice, you should be fine. Just be prepared for a lot of elbow grease if you are doing this by hand.

1. I recommend a car wash like NXT wash or megs Gold Class
2. Clay with Clay magic or Megs
3. Use #83 like stated above or Klasse All In One (AIO) it will help with the oxidation, but will not fix anything else, scratches, web, holograms
4. Follow with #80
5. Top with the NXT wax you've got

try Autopia.org for more info. good luck.
