Tear in leather seat!!!(heart broken)

This afternoon i just drove my max around town and came home. Opened the front passenger door and wham!!. I see a nasty 1 and a half inch tear on the side of the seat. I think it was my fat friend(looks like Jack Osbourne, lol, really) that did it accidentely the night before.
Anyway, any suggestions? There was this thing i saw on TV once that bonded the torn leather together, anyone know what it was?

I feel like there have been a hundred cracked, torn or stiff leather threads in the last week and a half.

Usually there's nothing you can do for this. A new leather seat cover from the dealer will be upwards of $600, and even a good lookalike vinyl cover from an upholstery shop will run you about half that. If its a big crack, I don't think there are any steps you can take to fix it without replacing it, sorry.

i have about a half inch tear on the passenger side eat on the lower back section of the seat. The tear didn't go all the way through. I was pissed but I guess I have to deal with it.. I know they have a guy down here that fixes interiors cloth and leather out of a van that does this at dealerships. There might be one of the mobile detailers that can repair it. just an idea.
