Did you buy it private party or from a dealer. If dealer, bring it back to them, b!tch a them saying that it was nowhere in anything you signed that you would advertise for them. If they want to lower your payments since you are advertising thats one thing, but if not take the stickers off. Usually works, and then theyre the ones worrying about taking the residue off.

a blow dryer and some bug/tar remover will also work. just be sure to rub gently with the bug/tar remover, as it is rather strong

You could try using a hair dryer or heat gun to warm the sticker up.

I on the other hand refuse to advertise for any dealer regardless of what kind of deal I got from them. I'm no billboard!

Any sort of Goo-Gone product will take off that residue. Costs a coupe bucks, but it always comes in handy around the house/garage eventually.

Took mine off fishing line then the adhesive with WD40, follow up with wash-clay-polish-sealant-wax, looks great. I debadged this way too.

Put a pressure washer right up next to that biotch. Let it have it.

Heat it up like they said, use a plastic blade and some goo gone or prep solvent.

Heat it gently, and you can even use waxed dental floss to remove the sticker. The best thing to clean the residue is Invisible glass and/or plexus. Then hit it with a little clay bar and some nice polish/sealant and wax. Then you have debadged properly without risk of damaging the paint.

Thx alot all, God my car looks so much better without
"JOE SCHMO NISSAN/ISUZU" on the trunk.Looks sexy now. just let my car bake in the sun for awhile and scraped it right off with a plastic scraper. a little residue remover and taada, no more stickers. Im also glad to have no paint fade lines from having those on. I would hate to have it still say that in "paint" instead of stickers =P
