3)Rinse car once more with hose (Hot or Cold Water?)
4)Wash car with **Meguiars Deep Crystal Car Wash** with (Hot or Cold Water?) using Chenille Wash Mitts and 2 Buckets
5)Rinse Car (Hot or Cold Water)?
6)Let dry
7)Touch up paint chips
8)Clay bar? which one?
9)**Mequiars Deep Crystal System Paint Cleaner Step **1, in what motion? linear or circle?
10)**Meguiars Deep Crystal System Polish Step 2**, in what motion? linear or circle?
11)**Meguiars Deep Crystal System Carnauba Wax Step 3**, in what motion? linear or circle?

The Scratch X should go before the polish and wax. The idea is to remove the scratches before you start putting coats of product on top of them.

Read through the stickys at the top of this forum too. Lots of good info there.

you dont have to do the dish soap wash( and wouldnt reccomend it ever b/c it dries out seals/trim, its just too harsh for a car.) the clay/cleaner/and polish will all remove the old wax and if its been more than 3-6 weeks since you last waxed it it is more than likely totally gone anyway. dont let the car dry, dry it, this will eliminate water spots which can etch into your paint which are very difficult to remove if severe enough. touching up the paint chips you are going to want to let the touch up paint fully dry before sealing them with a wax or sealant, probably about 24 hours dry time. clay bar look in the stickys for product reviews, prinzII did a nice review on clay bars, i would also reccomend clay magic (wal-mart carries it). just use hose water. it is always agood idea to use front to back motions on the top sections and up and down motions on the sides wjhile washing b/c if you do accidently scratch (from dirt on your wash mit) you will be less likely to see it. you will want to use a circular motion for applying every thing else, use tight circles and make sure you have a quality applicator. canadian **** is right if you use the scratch x at the end you will undo all your work, if it needs to be used use after claying. you can also check out autopia.org for all the info you could ever want.
