You can buy clay bar kits at any place like autozone or advanced auto.
For that engine, get some degreaser like orange power or simple green and start goin to town, that thing is gonna take some effort. Theres a writeup on here somewhere a few pages back

Go to Canadian Tire in the autocare/wax section. They sell both Meguiars and Mothers clay bar kits for about $25.

spray the engine with ALOT of Simple Green or any other degreaser..
wait a bout 5 min.. then with engine running spray then engine using the "mist" switch on your hose.. you might want to do it a couple of times on yours.
also make sure your engine is cold..

do that every six months and engine will be brand new all the time

I never understood how to clean the engine bay, would u remove the intake and cover the wires basically? I could see myself messing this up really bad but some advice would be sweet, thanks.

u dont even need to remove the intake. if u have an aftermarket just cover the filter with a grocery bag.. just dont spray one spot too long.. and keep the car running..and keep the engine running for 10 min after done spraying..

I reccomend the mothers bar over meguiars. I've used mother's and great results.

Why do you want the engine running?

Gunk foamy engine brite, and CD-2 rubber dressing afterwards. Don't wet the alternator, fuses, spark plugs, battery, air intake.
