opinions on the best tire shine product

All opinions and experiences are welcome. I've used tons of things and still haven't found what I would call the best one. How can we know which ones do NOT contain silicone, too. I know to stay away from that stuff, but does anyone have a list of products that do NOT contain it? I remember years ago my friend used Crisco oil (the stuff that looks like lard and is used for cooking)on his tires. It actually lasted a long time and shined pretty well...lol.

I like Sonters, less time-more shine. Nice stuff. Dont use it in the wind though. If you can, put in on somewhere enclosed if possible. little dots of it fly all over the car and then you have to rewipe the whole car again. But all in all its a good product

Turtle Wax Tire Wax. It's a cream thats applied with a foam pad. The stuff produces a nice wet shine, doesn't fling off and lasts a few washes too.

I've used this stuff. It works pretty well, and you are right, it does NOT spin off. Guess I'll stay with it.

The best product I've found for tires: Meguiar's Gold Class Endurance High Gloss Tire Gel. Put it on dried/cleaned tires, let it sit 10 min., put on another coat, and you're good to go for about three weeks. Don't get it on your paint though.

P.S. - I had to special-order my last bottle from Meguiars (because Target stopped selling it down here in FL) for about $10 a bottle....I use liberally every two weeks and one bottle has lasted about 6 months so far. PM me if you want to know anything else.

If you hit the Meguiar's wb site they are selling the stuff for $6.99 a bottle. I may look into it since I've always been a Maguiar's fan.

Ouch, kinda pricey. I typically just buy whatever is least expensive at Auto Zone ~$4.99.

screw the smell, go for the Black Magic Spray (it in the clear bottle and the stuff is clear too). its not the aerosol (sp?) type but the pump kind. it doesnt spin off and its a nice clear, deep shine. the foam crap is just that, crap. flings off and gets all over the place.

Hot shine is what I use. It has a nice adjustable spray pattern to adapt to the tire sidewall height without spraying allover the wheels.

I've searched but can't find any links to help you out. I bought my TW tire wax at Advance Auto, though.

I like to use a product that will work for both vinyl and rubber. I have had good luck using Lexol Vinylex and 303.

I've used 303 over the years. It is good stuff. I found it to be the absolute best on my toneau covers for my trucks. It really protected them and kept them black.

I sold them. I'm looking into getting a different car. I've been living with my accident damage for too long. I like people to look at my car because of the excellent paint condition, not because of the dents.
So hopefully by the end of July I'll have a "new" car.
