i have a bunch of superglue on my headlights and its not coming off...i tried using acetone but it worked very little. what else can i use guys?

 

1. How in the h*ll did you get super glue on them??

2. IIRC I saw some stuff at the hardware store that's supposed to remove super glue.

 

haha yea i tried super gue remover but it didnt do anything..i also tried paint thinner and that didnt do much either..i dont know what to do now

Or maybe Prinz will chime in. Maybe a rotary in skilled hands could remove it without wrecking the lens??

 

Why not sand it off? Then go at them with some rubbing compound then buff with mothers plastic polish. Be creative

Yeah def go ahead and try it, but take your time, and don't freak out when you see a bunch of little scratches start appearing on the headlights. This happened to me when I was restoring mine since they were all sandblasted and looked like poo. Now they look amazing. Just have confidence and if you run into problems let me know and I'll do my best to help But hey you'd kill 2 birds with one stone...you'd get the glue off and you'd restore your headlights to like-new condition at the same time!

 

sounds awesome man..but do u happen to have a write-up for this? as in wat grit sand paper to use and how/with wat to buff/polish?
