shaved my nissan emblem...problem

hey guy I just recently shaved my nissan emblem, not the letters the 'burger.' well, after all the scrubbing and heating to get that sticky crap off it faded the paint a bit. At some angles you can't even tell that it's faded and some angles it's just plain obvious. should I use some touch up paint? polish. what what what?!?! thanks...

Usually the paint under the emblem is darker than the other paint. You're saying it's lighter? Either way, a mild polish ought to get things evened out. You may have to apply it numerous times, though.

shouldn't be one on a 98.

give the paint some time to breathe some air and stuff, then go back to trying to polish it even.

as far as your retardedness, I have several other "nissan" emblems.....like the front grill and the steering wheel, so I think people get the idea that it's a nissan, not to mention i still got the "maxima" emblem on there...
