Leatherique
Leatherique
I went to www.leatherique.com and ordered a kit with a bottle of rejuvinating oil and prestine clean and am awaiting it's arrival. I'm hoping this product will restore and soften my leather seats and get rid of some of the stained spots on the seats. I've heard pretty good reviews on the product which convinced me to purchase it. Does anyone know anything about this product or have personal experience using it on Infiniti leather? I've heard it behaves differently on different types of leather because not all leather is the same quality. How durable is Infiniti leather? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Davis81387,
I've personally used this product and had great results. To get the best results I would suggest setting aside a whole day to allow the oil to work. What I did was use two empty spray bottles filled with each of the product. First I let the car sit out in the sun in order for the seats to get warm. This allows the oil to better penetrate the leather. Then I sprayed the oil liberally on the seats and massaged it in by hand using rubber gloves. Leave the car out in the sun for at least 4 hours or more. A full day would be best. Once you've allowed the oil to sit you'll notice that your seats will be sticky. This is due to the dirt and grime coming to the surface. Now use the cleaner and a brush to scrub the seats clean. Once all of the oil is removed your seats should feel a lot cleaner and supple. Let me know if you have any questions.

I finally got around to using the leatherique. It did take out some of the stains as well as lighten the color of my seats and bring back the original leather aroma but I feel it could have made them softer. I will try more applications cause I've only done it once.
