Hurricane damage....help!!!

Hurricane damage....help!!!

not really damage but thanks to hurricane wilma I got pine tree sap all over my black max and it isnt coming off!!! I tried washing and using some bug/tar remover but no luck....
Help!!!

I'm sure someone will come up with a brainwave, but in the meantime drop by an auto detailer and ask them what you should use.

Maybe a little gasoline will work.

Once you do get the sap off, you should wax the car.

I'm always pretty impressed with this stuff:



Spray it on a rag (microfiber preferable if you like scratch free paint) and rub the sap. Holding it on the sap for a second can help too. Wash it off IMMEDIATELY.

nail polish remover always does the trick for me...or a bottle of goo gone

Don't use any of the products anyone has just mentioned, they will dry out your paint.

As TXT-1 said, Claybar will work, and will be paint safe.

3M Wax & Adhesive remover. Never has failed me. Make sure you coat the paint with a layer of wax after using this though, it is somewhat harsh.
