Dremeling bumper question

What is the safest way to dremel part of a bumper without chipping or cracking the paint of the other parts close to it? I got cutting circles made for plastic, metal, or wood; and I'm going to masking tape off the area around where I'm making the cuts. Any advice?

Thanks.

I would use the plastic cutting wheels, cause the bumper is made of ABS plastic...

...but WHY exactly are you cutting your bumper?

This is actually for my brothers jeep. We installed toe hooks and you have to trim some of the bumper so you can put it on.
