New Front Windshield

I just got a new windsheild, is there anything I should do to it to take car of it???

I wonder what would happen if you covered it in the 3M film they use for clear bra's to protect the front end of the vehicle from rock chips. Hmmmm.

well I know they have the tear offs for windshields, i've seen it used in many race series...
