Pad recommendations for Menzerna products

Spring has sprung and I've got a mad hankerin to go to town on my car. I've decided to go with the regimen of Menzerna products that SOONR1 had so much success with (Intensive Polish, Final Polish & Finishing Touch Glaze) and wanted to know:

Which Porter Cable friendly pads do you recommend and more specifically, with the suggestions you have provided, which color pad goes best with each of those products.

Thanks so much

Ooooo, and if I may, can you suggest some complimentary spot pads to go with those products. (for spots that the Porter can't get at)

Propel pads from exceldetail.com.

Yellow for IP
Green for FPII
Blue for FG

Depending on your swirls, you might need to start with the orange pad with the IP. Use the same pads for the 4" spot pads

Excellent, thanks for the suggestions guys.

I just checked out exceldetail's web site and it looks like their about out of everything. I'll have to see when they expect to get more in stock (tis the season I guess)

Big Lou: would you happen to know which Sonus pads go with which Menzerna products?

Also curious to know if anyone's tried or recommend the Lake Country pads

Thanks again

I havent used Lake County pads myself, but lots of people really like them
The LC pads would be

Yellow or Orange with IP
White with FPII
Black with FG

It would be a lot like rsly33's color suggestions.
Sonus offers two pad selections to my knowledge: the DAS series and the SFX series.

I personally have the DAS series, and from most abrasive to softest, the pad color goes: Orange, Green, and Blue, where the Orange is the heavy cut (IP probably would go with this), Green is the lighter polish pad (for FP most likely), and the Blue is presumably for glaze application and/or wax/sealant application.

Thanks again gents.

Would you guys happen to know what category pad the Klasse AIO requires? I was thinking of getting some of that to use for my shorter details (a wash, AIO, wax detail if you will)

Would it be a middle pad (say the green, white & green pads respectively) or does it fall into the softer realm.

No, I believe that AIO should be applied with the softest pad actually. I'm going to go look that up now, bc I can't remember off the top of my head. On my last AIO-KSG, I used a blue finishing DAS pad.
