NXT Wax Good on our cars????

Hey guys I've been using NXT wax on my Trans AM since I bought it. I need to get my maxima waxed within the next couple weeks, I actually hope to do it tomorrow before the race ifits warm enough. Do you guys like the NXT wax or is there something better for our cars that you'd recommend? Thanks in advance!

So how did NXT turn out for you?

It's my most fav. off-the-shelf wax .. so easy to apply and buff off. It also cleans the paint too. Best bang for the buck ...

I used NXT on my maxima once I got it. Incredible stuff off the shelf. I've heard of waxes online that are probably better and more expensive, but from the local auto store, this stuff is great. I usually do Meguiars Step 1 - Paint Cleaner first, then use NXT. Used to use it on my SE-R before this, and it made me a believer.

Is the NXT any more durable than other store bought waxes like Turtle Wax, Meguires, and Mothers? I'm looking for something that's not to expensive but will last a long time.

It kept pretty well on my car... Definantly lasted as long as any other wax on my car.

NXT is made by Meguiars. I have used several of the Meguiar products including the NXT Wax but still like their Pro Mirror Glaze Hi-Tech Yellow Wax. I'll put a coat of Show Car Glaze prior to waxing. The NXT Wax doesn't seem to last very long but in comparison the Mirror Glaze does. The NXT car wash is also excellent and I would highly recomend it. I have never used Turtle Wax but don't think I will ever try any of their products. I know Mother's puts out a few good products but I have always used Meguiars and will continue to do so until I find something that is better that costs the same.

so do you guys let it sit for 30 minutes or wipe off each section as you go like on the bottle?

Then I suppose a second coat a week later if desireable?

gonna wash and clay today

polish and wax tomorrow

I've been debating between going with NXT or going with the whole Zaino process. I think I'm going to try the NXT first, I've been hearing good things.

I use NXT, but am convinced it has something to do with the hardness of your water.

Used to use California gold and loved it. This was in San Diego, where i had soft water and moderate temps all year.

Zaino is garbage, spent the extra money on 150 bottles of NXT

Why is Zaino garbage? I've been wanting to try it for some time now and most people who have tried have nothing but great things to say about it.

Because you can get better/same exact results from other products with no need for multiple coats. Plus its not very compatible with a lot of products

Very nice! That first picture was so reflective, it took me a minute to figure out where the car was.

Well I used NXT for the first time today on my wife's SUV. It's a lighter color vehicle and I wasn't all that impressed. I purposely didn't wax the front bumper so I could compare the sections with the NXT to the front bumper which has no wax on it. I can't really tell the difference. I'll try it my grey lustre max next, maybe that will look better.

I used the paste on my cousin's Jet Black BMW at the beginning of the month. Overrated and overhyped product. Nice gloss but poor beading characteristics and longevity. 3 washes later and it needs to be reapplied. I'll be moving on to something else thank you.

For the money I would look elsewhere. Even for looks, I would rather stick with a carnauba rather than using this as a LSP.

Has anyone tried Nu-Finish? It's supposed to last longer than any other store bought brand. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with it.

True.

Dawn dish soap car wash ----> Clay bar ----> Pro Mirror Glaze Hi-Tech Yellow wax ----> NXT ----> FTMFW!

This works very well for my black max.

I've used NuFinish for years and love it. Just be sure to use a paste wax or some type of paint cleaner first. NuFinish will not remove dirt, scratches or swirl marks. It just lays down a good protective layer.

I used NXT on my black Max back in late March and it was still beading when I did it again 2 weeks ago. I really like it and the results it gives. I used the paste and it was easy on and easy off. I will continue to use it. I also like their Gold Class and Carnuba. Just my .02

Well it rained here in upstate NY 22 of the 30 days in June so today was the first time I got to wash my wife's car again since using the NXT. I am now convinced that the NXT is complete and total crap. A HUGE waste of money. When I sprayed the car with water there was absolutely NO beading at all. So this crap didn't even last a month or through the first wash. If you want something this bad just save your money and buy turtle wax.
