Getting a scratch off of my glove box.

Well yesterday my wife noticed a long (about 6 inches) scratch on the glove box (probably because she put it there ). The scratch is fairly deep (you can feel it when you run your fingers over it). Anyone know the best way to remove/reduce the thing?

BTW, the Maxima is a 2005 with the light grey interior.

Thanks!

Damn, you're ****...

I've got a bunch of scratches on the back of the center console where the backseat passengers tend to kick, I live with it (mostly because I rarely ever see it). But yeah, it's just about impossible to get out...

I guess thats the difference between owning an 06' and a 97' ( no offense).

The year of the car has nothing to do with it. That's a careless generalization. I owned a 96 (totaled) and hated the scratches on the dashboard. I just couldn't do anything about em.

The year of the car has everything to do with it. Paying 30K for a car and trying to live with things like scratches on the interior and owning a car 10 years old is a different world. My 02 max is getting a few years older now, and things like scratches still bother me. But when my 02 is 8-10 years old I doubt I will car anymore. I would get a new glovebox if I had an 06 because it would bother the (explictive) out of me.

If you are going to buy a new one try melting the scratch with something hot. It may be reduced.
