I have heard really great things about it however it is very expensive. And from what I hear they give you just enough to do one vehicle. There is a similar product called Zaino which is supposed to be equally as good and from what I've read they give much more of their product for the same amount of money. After I get my hood re-painted I'm going to try the Zaino.

I tried it. waste of money.

I had the car for 2 years. I would simply rinse and wipe.... but it never got really clean even if just washing and was not as slick as can be.

It pales in comparison if you actually wax the car. I clayed recently. 5 star couldn't have worked seeing all the contaminants I removed.

sounds good, but no way to know if your paint is really protected.

So is it true what they say on their site?

"Once the wax gets hot, it becomes sticky and starts attracting and holding dirt and pollutants next to your car's paint - exactly what you don't want!" http://5starshine.com/

Is that just a marketing trick, or is it really true?

Not necessarily true. Some waxes are more prone to attract dust than others.
