my clearcoat is peeling off in the hood and roof areas....is a paint job the only cure I presume??

 

I have the same problem, one of my dad's friends recommended Meguiars Scratch-X, it seems to help but there are still little spots on my car, it looks like a dalmtion, paint would be the only complete cure, i believe

 

Yup new paint is the only thing that will fix it

 

the door panels are still ok, plus the actual paint is in good condition expect for the clear coat (it shines nicely when wet!!)
So do I need paint the whole thing? or just clear coat the bad spots?

 

Talk to a body shop and get their opinion. They are the professionals and should be able to give you an answer based on actually looking at your car.
