Where to buy high grit sandpaper?

I was reading a bunch of threads on wet sanding your headlights. I have never really been sandpaper shopping before, I checked in lowes and I don't think they carry that high of grit. Where are you guys getting 1000 and 2000 grit sand paper that you can wetsand with?

We don't have a home depot here...and I am not sure where there is a auto paint supply place around here. Is there somewhere on like that you guys get it? Thanks.

Auto paint supply places are around. Yellow pages are your best bet. You might be able to find a general hardware store that has it. Or a tool supply place.
But I'm pretty sure the Auto paint place would have it

Well I ended up finding it at Advanced Auto. I got a pack of 1000 and 2000 grit. Hopefully it will work out for me. Thanks for all the advice everyone.

If you find any tricks to the headlights send me a message cause I did mine, and they look fine in the daytime, but when I turn on the lights they had a bad haze to them.

what grit did you use? I am just going off what I have been reading on here. I am planning on wet sanding them with 1000 then 2000 grit. After that I will buff the lights with some polish. What method did you use?
