Spray wax & spray detailer

If you feel you need to use spray detailer on spray wax, that spray wax is not working.
Even though it takes along time and a lot of effort it is hard to beat the 3/4 step process (clay, polish, glaze, wax) for the best shine.
Check out www.dccarcare.com, they have a very good detailing how-to section. The products they sell work very good also.

Spray wax and spray detailers still have their uses, even after clay/polish/glaze/sealant. My current favorite is the new Ice by Turtle Wax. It doesn't turn white when it dries, and it's very smooth.
Also have Meguiars and Mothers, but sticking with the Ice for now. That's on top of Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze (for swirls) then Klasse All-in-One. I only use the Ice between total wax jobs.

Having been certified twice through Meguiar's in detailing (Gold Class Certification, and Marine line), I can tell you that if you're using spray wax, it's not going to give you the shine that a paste or liquid wax will, nor the longevity. Spray detailers work great, but only when they have a nice waxed surface to go on top of.
