Crystalization on the inside of my headlights?
Hey guys. I recently cleaned the outside of my headlights with just some Meguairs ScratchX, and it worked great. Removed nearly all the haze and yellowing. They look awesome in the day time. But at night, with the lights on, they arent my cup o tea. They have some sort of crystalizing deposits on the inside, like the glaze on a donut or something. It is not condensation, it never changes shape/goes away or increases, nor does it look like it. It is on both lenses. If it is a bad seal, wouldnt there be condensation also? I have never seen any. Here are some pics. Any clue on what it is? And now I assume to get rid of it, I gotta take off the lenses and clean the insides?
Thanks guys!

Thanks guys!

My guess would be salt condensation from small leaks. If you remove the light assy and use some CLR Cleaner or even white vinegar, that may solve the problem. The seal around the litebulb itself may be dried or torn, letting the moisture in during rain or even high humidity. Anyway, when the lite is hot, then cools down, the cooling will sorta vacuum in outside air.
lotsa work, but those do look crusty.
